I discovered my interest in media at the age of 15. Through small television appearances on German TV, such as "Tatort" ARD and extras in TV commercials, I was able to gain initial experience in front of the camera.
After I graduated from high school, I moved to Spain and Costa Rica to learn a new language and also started surfing.
I studied sports journalism at a media school in Munich. As a journalist -amongst others- I wrote for Germanys biggest tabloid BILD Munich with my own area of responsibility in Ice hockey and Basketball. For the Bavarian Football Association, I reported about football as a field reporter and interviewed players and officials of the ‚Bayernliga‘ for their TV Channel.
After successfully completing my studies by the age of 24 I decided to concentrate on my passion for surfing for a year.
At the age of 25, I moved to the west coast of Australia to continue to improve my surfing skills. A short time later, I received support a.o. from O'Neill Europe and the action-sports shop Blue Tomato which allowed me to continue to surf the maximum amount of time during my Masters degree in Media & Communications.
In 2018, I founded the surf magazine "WMNSurfmag", where we report about surfing, interviews famous sports personalities and publish interesting stories of professional surfers.
Since 2019, I spend the main surfing season (April - September) in Indonesia and work as a Public Relations manager for Athletes and brands and as a sports reporter for TV and Print Media currently mainly in the field of Ice hockey and surfing.
Since 2020 I operate under the name of WMN - What makes newsworthy PR.
